Delta – Delta Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce a $3200 gift from Knights of Columbus, North Surrey Council #4767 to purchase a Hi-Lo bed for the busy extended care unit, Mountain View Manor, at Delta Hospital. This facility provides a home for 92 seniors who require complex care and can no longer live independently.  Hi-Low beds play an important role in hospital and residential care settings by reducing risk of injury from falling out of bed.

The Knights of Columbus are a longstanding charitable organization that assists and undertakes many worthy community initiatives.  Since 2013, The Knights of Columbus, North Surrey Council #4767 has given over $16,000 to Delta Hospital Foundation for the purchase of priority medical equipment at Delta Hospital.

“We are proud to do our part to support the four hospitals in Surrey, Langley and Delta,” says Roy Anorico, Grand Knight of Council #4767 of the Knights of Columbus. “Delta Hospital provides great healthcare to the growing community of Delta, and we will continue our support of Delta Hospital Foundation however we can.”

“We are so grateful to have the support of service clubs like Knights of Columbus. Their generosity and commitment to Delta Hospital Foundation helps us promote the best possible healthcare for our community,” says Angela Turner, Major Giving Manager, Delta Hospital Foundation.
