Delta - The Century Group Delta Health Classic is set to take place Thursday, June 15th at the spectacular Tsawwassen Springs Golf Course. Now in its eighteenth year, this sold out golf tournament is one of Delta Hospital Foundation’s biggest signature fundraising events. To date, it has raised $1.7 million NET for Delta Hospital. This year, 150 business and community leaders will tee off in their Fiesta-Mexican themed attire for a fun day of golf in support of prostate and general cancer care at Delta Hospital. 2017 marks the third year of Century Group’s generous five year title sponsor commitment.

Century Group has a rich philanthropic history in Delta, particularly when it comes to Delta Hospital. Over the last 25 years, Century Group has donated over $1.8 million to Delta Hospital. They have supported capital campaigns, donated funds for priority medical equipment, including the invaluable CT scanner, and have made contributions towards Delta Hospital’s Greatest Needs Fund. “Giving back to the community is a huge part of who we are as a company,” says Sean Hodgins, Century Group President. “We continue to be proud of the work we do and are proud of the support we give to Delta Hospital.”

Not many Title Sponsors are as fully committed as Century Group. Their vendors and volunteers that show up and work to support the golf tournament ensures its success. “We gratefully acknowledge the immense support we receive from Century Group. Their enthusiasm and sense of community is beyond compare,” says Lisa Hoglund, Executive Director, Delta Hospital Foundation. “We simply couldn’t reach the same fundraising heights if it wasn’t for them and the many generous businesses in our community that make this event shine for our hospital.”

Century Group is committed to building community. In business for more than 60 years, their vision is to create beautiful sustainable buildings and liveable neighbourhoods, where people can access jobs, transportation, and local amenities. Their most recent development is Northgate, a new mixed-use community in the heart of Tsawwassen that features a senior’s residence, townhomes, and a Class A office building.
