Lisa Hoglund, a life-long Delta resident, holds the position of CEO at the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation. Her impressive 18-year career in the non-profit sector is marked by her exceptional leadership in community engagement and development, which has led the Foundation to achieve significant milestones. Prior to her current role, Lisa held fundraising positions at the BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre Foundation and the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC. Here, she amassed extensive experience in strategic planning, marketing, event management, and donor relations. Lisa’s unwavering dedication and passion for promoting outstanding healthcare at the Delta Hospital campus and within the community continue to fortify donor relationships. Her leadership is instrumental in propelling the Foundation forward, ensuring that the most pressing healthcare needs are addressed. In 2021, Lisa further solidified her commitment to the sector by earning her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation. In recognition of her longstanding service as a non-profit leader in Delta, Lisa received the 2024 King Charles Coronation Medal.
Shari has been with Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation since 2012. As the Annual Giving and Community Initiatives Manager, she is responsible for community events, monthly donors, mail campaigns and much more. She has extensive experience in recruitment and human resources in the fishing and employment industries as well as healthcare. Prior to coming to DHCHF, Shari worked at Fraser Health for nine years where she was involved in coordinating recruitment across the entire health authority, including for Delta Hospital. Shari is a longtime Delta resident and enjoys living in Ladner with her two kids. She is inspired by the many wonderful donors that she gets to interact with through many Foundation events and activities. Her dedication to her community is shown through her avid volunteerism in local organizations such as Ladner Minor Baseball, May Days, DSS Dry Grad and many more.
Leanne joined the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation in May 2022. Leanne has a long history working in accounting and the non-profit sector. With 20 years of accounting experience, she now focuses on non-profit entities. She enjoys working with organizations to try and make them more efficient and to help them focus on their mission while knowing accounting is being taken care of in the background. Leanne and her family relocated to BC in 2018 and found themselves settled in Tsawwassen. They love the community and are so thankful to be a part of the South Delta community.
Ashli Owen joined the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation as Communications Manager in 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Simon Fraser University and brings more than 20 years of experience providing strategic leadership in communications, integrated marketing, brand stewardship, and high-profile event planning across public, private, and non-profit sectors. Ashli began her career in 2005 at the BC Cancer Agency, working in public relations and event planning before advancing into senior communications roles within publicly traded companies. In these roles, she specialized in corporate marketing and corporate marketing and investor relations, building credibility and stakeholder trust. Prior to joining the Foundation, Ashli served as Communications and Marketing Manager at BC & Alberta Guide Dogs, where she led brand positioning and communications strategy in support of mission-driven work. Born and raised in Ladner, Ashli returned to the community to raise her two children. She is proud to be part of the leadership team at the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation, advancing healthcare philanthropy and community impact through strategic communications and storytelling.
Chelsey joined Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation as the Foundation Assistant in 2024. With over 20 years of customer service experience, she has worked in various fields within the South Delta community, including hospitality, banking, real estate, and office management. Before joining DHCHF, Chelsey managed an office of over 120 staff while serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO. Her passion for people has honed her relationship management skills and helped her forge meaningful connections within the community. Chelsey lives in Ladner with her husband and two children and is proud to be part of an organization that supports healthcare in the community she loves.
Jodi Stokes is the Director of Legacy and Leadership Giving with Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation, blending her business expertise and passion for philanthropy. With a background in wealth management and education in corporate finance from BCIT, Jodi seamlessly transitioned into supporting donors as they shape their leadership and legacy gifts to achieve philanthropic goals. Jodi is a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners and the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy. She earned her CFRE, Certified Fund-Raising Executive designation in March 2026. Working with donors to create connections with causes closest to their heart and fostering a deep sense of purpose is the most meaningful part of Jodi’s work. Witnessing the impact of philanthropy and carrying forward the unique stories of donor generosity inspires Jodi to continue her commitment to advancing healthcare in Delta.
