Lisa Hoglund is the Executive Director at Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation and a life-long resident of the Delta community. With over 15 years experience working in the non-for-profit sector, Lisa’s leadership in community engagement and development has enabled the Foundation to achieve significant milestones. Previously, Lisa worked in fundraising positions at BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre Foundation and Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC where she gained extensive experience in strategic planning, marketing & event management, and donor relations. Her dedication and passion for promoting outstanding healthcare at Delta Hospital and in the community, continues to strengthen donor relations and drive the Foundation forward to ensure the most critical health care priorities are being met.
Shari has been with Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation since 2012. As the Annual Giving Manager, she is responsible for community events, monthly donors, mail campaigns and much more. She has extensive experience in recruitment and human resources in the fishing and employment industries as well as healthcare. Prior to coming to DHCHF, Shari worked at Fraser Health for nine years where she was involved in coordinating recruitment across the entire health authority, including for Delta Hospital. Shari is a longtime Delta resident and enjoys living in Ladner with her two kids. She is inspired by the many wonderful donors that she gets to interact with through many Foundation events and activities. Her dedication to her community is shown through her avid volunteerism in local organizations such as Ladner Minor Baseball, May Days, DSS Dry Grad and many more.
Laura joined the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation in November 2021. Laura brings with her an extensive administrative background, having gained 20 years of senior level administrative and office management experience with various organizations. She joined the Foundation after working for 13 years in the Vancouver Police Department's Professional Standards Section. Born and raised in Richmond, she and her husband moved to Ladner in 2011 and fell in love with the South Delta community. With a son and daughter in elementary school, both very involved in sports, she has had the pleasure of meeting and continuing to meet many wonderful people in the community . Laura was excited to join the dynamic team, passionate about supporting healthcare in the community in which they reside.
Ashli joined Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation as the Communications Specialist in 2019. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Simon Fraser University and brings over 16 years of expertise in strategic communications, integrated marketing, brand management, and event planning. Ashli started her career at BC Cancer Agency working in public relations and event planning before moving to communications roles in publicly traded companies where she specialized in marketing and investor relations. Most recently, she has found a passion in non-profit where she excelled in her role of Communications and Marketing Manager at BC & Alberta Guide Dogs before joining the Foundation team. Ashli grew up in Ladner and returned to raise her two young kids. She is proud to be working in the dynamic team at DHCH Foundation and supporting healthcare for the community she grew up in.
Jodi joined the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation as the Major Giving Manager in 2020. Jodi has an extensive background in client service, community programming, finance and business administration. A BCIT Business Management graduate, specializing in Corporate Finance, Jodi started her career working in the Financial Sector as a licensed IAA and Client Relationship Manager with CIBC Wood Gundy. Driven by a strong belief in health improvement, Jodi moved to the public sector in 2008 developing Community Health and Wellness Programs for the Richmond Olympic Oval and the City of Richmond. Jodi is a Tsawwassen resident, where her daughter attends elementary school. She is thrilled to assume a role that supports health care in the community where she resides and is proud to call home. Jodi has been involved with the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation as a donor and supporter, now as the Major Giving Manager, Jodi is inspired to grow and deepen donor relationships with those who share her passion for healthcare in our community.
