Holiday Equipment Needs List

Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation has committed to raise $18.25 million towards the new Long Term Care Centre coming to the Delta Hospital Campus. However, equipment needs at our campus still exist. Through donor support, we bridge the gap between the basic funding government provides and the best care possible.

Here are some of the items on our Holiday Equipment Needs List. Description: A Holter monitor is a small, wearable device that records the heart's rhythm. It's used to detect or determine the risk of irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias).	Description: An Oximeter is an electronic device that measures the saturation of oxygen carried in your red blood cells.	Description: The 3-in-1 Training Staircase is designed to assist individuals in performing stair-climbing exercises. This device is especially useful for patients who need to regain strength, improve balance, or recover mobility after injuries, surgeries, or certain medical conditions.	Description: A blood pressure monitor is used to record blood pressure readings at specified times during a 24-hour period. The monitor consists of an arm cuff attached by a flexible rubber tube to a light-weight monitor.


Description: A blanket warmer is a heated compartment used to keep linens warm. These warmers contribute to providing comfort and promoting a soothing environment for patients.	Description: A Lead-Lined Barrier is a protective shield or shielding containing lead lining. This type of barrier is designed to help minimize radiation exposure for healthcare professionals and patients during medical procedures involving the use of X-rays or other ionizing radiation sources.	Description: The Fuze Tilt Wheelchair offers a tilt-in-space feature for enhanced postural support and pressure redistribution. With its ergonomic design and adjustable features, the wheelchair provides optimal positioning and ensures a comfortable ride.	Description: The Atlanta Geri-Chair is designed for patients at risk of falls and those with vigorous, involuntary movements. Clinically crafted, the Atlanta provides a robust, durable, and safe environment, effectively reducing the risk of injury and falls.


	Description: The Computer on Wheels is a portable computer cart that provides secure access to electronic health records, medication management systems, and communication tools.	Description: An Airvo is a humidifier with integrated flow generator that delivers high flow warmed and humidified respiratory gases to spontaneously breathing patients through a variety of patient interfaces
