Ingrid Barnes

Our Board of Directors are community leaders, dedicated and passionate about our mission to fund and promote outstanding healthcare at the Delta Hospital Campus of Care and in our community. Our Board members volunteer their time to assist Foundation staff to raise the funds needed to support the most critical healthcare needs and they greatly contribute to our success. Ingrid has been serving on Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation’s Board of Directors for 10 years as of this September and held the role of Chair from 2018 to 2020.

Ingrid and her husband Greg love living in Delta. They have lived there for 28 years. They have a blended family of 6 children and 12 grandchildren and feel very fortunate that the majority of their family resides in the Lower Mainland. To Ingrid and Greg, nothing matters more than their family, but also feel it is important to support our Community, in particularly the Delta Hospital Campus of Care. They want to do their part in helping to ensure that Delta Hospital is the best it can be.

Ingrid brings a wealth of expertise having worked for Government (Ontario Ministry of Education), Advertising (MacLaren McCann Vancouver) and Retail (Barnes Harley-Davidson & Barnes Wheaton GM) in the areas of Communication and Marketing.
She is currently in her 10th year as a Board Member of the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation. “It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve on this Board. Giving back not only helps others, but it provides meaning to me,” says Ingrid. “ I have been so very lucky in this life of the kindness and generosity that people have extended to me. I believe in paying it forward!”
