Sarah Gallop

Our Board of Directors are community leaders, dedicated and passionate about our mission to fund and promote outstanding healthcare at the Delta Hospital Campus of Care and in our community. Our Board members volunteer their time to assist Foundation staff to raise the funds needed to support the most critical healthcare needs and they greatly contribute to our success. Follow along as we feature these important members of our team.

This month, we are profiling our Board member, Sarah Gallop. Sarah joined our Board of Directors in 2020.

Sarah Gallop is the Director of Design for Delta based Sarah Gallop Design Inc (SGDI), an award-winning design firm which offers complete design of new custom homes and renovations through British Columbia and the USA. She is a 5th generation born and raised Delta community member and is committed to giving back to the community she lives and works in.

Sarah volunteered for the City of Delta’s Heritage Advisory Commission for 8 years, the Delta Advisory Design Panel for 2 years, and the Ladner Village Revitalization Advisory Panel for 1.5 years. Over the years, she has written articles for Black Press and Glacier Media, been a featured columnist for Westcoast Homes & Design magazine, and appeared on many Global TV and City TV design features. She has also presented numerous times on the Main Stage at the BC Home + Garden Show and the Vancouver Fall Home Show.  Sarah’s design work is focused on creating beautiful, healthy, safe spaces for her clients which is why she feels passionately about Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation and contributing to a thriving, healthy community.

Sarah is in her fourth year as a DHCHF Board Director. This year will be Sarah’s first year as the Moonlight Gala Co-Chair, DHCHF’s biggest signature event. In addition she is Chair for the Foundation’s Education Committee which provides scholarships for Delta students and bursaries for eligible Delta Hospital staff members.
