Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation’s Century Group Delta Health Classic is back in person on June 23rd in its 23rd year. Due to an overwhelming response from sponsors, this year’s golf tournament is SOLD OUT.
For over 20 years, Delta’s business and community leaders have demonstrated their support for the Delta Hospital Campus of Care by sponsoring and attending the Foundation’s renowned annual golf tournament fundraiser. The Century Group Delta Health Classic is dedicated to improving the health of all who live and work in Delta and the goal of this year’s tournament is to help the needs of Delta Hospital’s busy surgical services program.
Century Group is the title sponsor once again – for the 8th year in a row – and has a longstanding history of supporting Delta Hospital’s Campus of Care and our community. “We are pleased to continue our support of Delta Hospital as it is an important part of the health of our community,” says Sean Hodgins, President of Century Group. “Commitment to our community is at the very core of our company, and we are proud to be raising funds for Delta Hospital’s busy surgical department this year.”
“This is an especially exciting year for the Century Group Delta Health Classic. We are back in person and back to our 1-day format with lots of exciting things happening on course,” says Lisa Hoglund, Executive Director, Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation. “We are appreciative of Century Group’s continued and generous support as well as our other longstanding and new sponsors who are joining us for this year’s SOLD OUT tournament.”
The Century Group Delta Health Classic is back to the pre-COVID days and includes a great day of golf, a hearty lunch, the best of Delta restaurants and libations on-course, 19th Hole Reception, games and prizes, and lots of laughs set to this year’s Wild West theme. Participants will raise funds for Delta Hospital’s busy Surgical Services Department – one of the busiest day surgery sites in the Fraser Health region. Over 7,900 surgeries are performed every year in three Operating Rooms and approximately 3,500 endoscopies in thier Endoscopy Suite.
Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation wants to give special thanks to this year’s other lead sponsors, Spire Development (Auction Sponsor), Delta Agricultural Society (Platinum Sponsor) and Riverwood Homes Ltd. (Platinum Sponsor).
Even though the in-person event is sold out, the community can still participate in the Century Group Delta Health Classic by taking part in their online auction. Visit www.dhchfoundation.ca for all the up-to-date information.
