Our Stories

Our Board of Directors are community leaders, dedicated and passionate about our mission to fund and promote outstanding healthcare at the Delta Hospital Campus of Care and in our community. Our Board members volunteer their time to assist Foundation staff to raise the funds needed to support the most critical healthcare needs and they greatly contribute to our success. Follow along as we feature these important members of our team.

 

 

This month, we are profiling our board member, Sue Dujmovic. For more than 30 years with HSBC Bank Canada, Susan held a variety of executive management positions in the areas of Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, and Corporate Sustainability. Susan is an experienced director with extensive audit, risk, and governance expertise. In 2021, Susan joined the Coast Capital Savings Federal Credit Union board and chairs the Risk Review Committee. Since 2020, she has been a board member and Audit Committee Chair for Infrastructure BC, a provincial crown corporation and procurement advisor for major infrastructure projects in BC. Susan was both Chair and Audit Committee Chair of the Royal Canadian Mint, a multi-billion-dollar Crown Corporation, during her twelve years on the Board. She also served as a director of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association, an SRO regulating over 100 mutual fund dealers and 82,000 advisors. Susan remains committed to community leadership, serving on the boards of non-profit organizations including most recently the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation and the Beach Grove Golf Club. Susan served as a member of the Semiahmoo Rotary Club, is a Leadership Vancouver graduate, and a recipient of the Canada Board Diversity Council’s Diversity 50 award. Susan holds a BA from the University of British Columbia, is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers, and has her Canadian Securities and Institute of Corporate Directors certification (ICD.d).
