Bob Binkley and Shirley Cook have made a generous commitment of $1 million towards critical care needs at Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation (DHCH Foundation). This gift is designated towards high priority projects and equipment for the Delta Hospital Campus of Care and includes $250,000 being allocated to the new Beedie Long Term Care Centre.
Bob and Shirley have been supporting DHCH Foundation since 2003. Their support has gone towards diverse needs throughout the hospital campus including, ER, Diagnostic Services and Surgical Services. “We are so thankful to Bob and Shirley and their long history of helping fund priority needs at the Delta Hospital Campus of Care,” says Lisa Hoglund, Executive Director, Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation. “Support like this, makes an incredible difference to services on site and patient care”.
Reflecting on their commitment, Bob Binkley shared, “We have lived and done business in this community for 45 years. Giving back to our hospital seems like the right thing to do. Having the best equipment and services nearby is very reassuring to our family. Delta Hospital has provided care to us several times over the years, and we want to ensure that the medical staff have what they need to help our neighbours, family and friends well into the future,” stated Bob Binkley.
