Lisa Hoglund, a life-long Delta resident, holds the position of Executive Director at the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation. Her impressive 18-year career in the non-profit sector is marked by her exceptional leadership in community engagement and development, which has led the Foundation to achieve significant milestones. Prior to her current role, Lisa held fundraising positions at the BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre Foundation and the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC. Here, she amassed extensive experience in strategic planning, marketing, event management, and donor relations. Lisa’s unwavering dedication and passion for promoting outstanding healthcare at the Delta Hospital campus and within the community continue to fortify donor relationships. Her leadership is instrumental in propelling the Foundation forward, ensuring that the most pressing healthcare needs are addressed. In 2021, Lisa further solidified her commitment to the sector by earning her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation. In recognition of her longstanding service as a non-profit leader in Delta, Lisa received the 2024 King Charles Coronation Medal.
Shari has been with Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation since 2012. As the Annual Giving Manager, she is responsible for community events, monthly donors, mail campaigns and much more. She has extensive experience in recruitment and human resources in the fishing and employment industries as well as healthcare. Prior to coming to DHCHF, Shari worked at Fraser Health for nine years where she was involved in coordinating recruitment across the entire health authority, including for Delta Hospital. Shari is a longtime Delta resident and enjoys living in Ladner with her two kids. She is inspired by the many wonderful donors that she gets to interact with through many Foundation events and activities. Her dedication to her community is shown through her avid volunteerism in local organizations such as Ladner Minor Baseball, May Days, DSS Dry Grad and many more.
Jena joined Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation as the Philanthropy Assistant in June of 2024. As a long-time resident of Ladner, Jena has worked in many small business settings and volunteered with school and community organizations over the past 7 years, making meaningful connections with fellow community members. Most recently, Jena worked as a barista at Nat’s Coffee House while completing her Bachelor of Arts at the University of British Columbia. Majoring in both English Literature and Sociology, she has cultivated a passion for writing, creativity, community involvement, and social connection. Through discovering these passions, Jena was inspired to develop her professional skills in the non-profit sector with the DHCHF team. She is looking forward to deepening her relationship with the Delta community through her role with DHCHF, working to benefit the healthcare available to her community
Ashli joined Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation as the Communications Manager in 2019. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Simon Fraser University and brings over 16 years of expertise in strategic communications, integrated marketing, brand management, and event planning. Ashli started her career at BC Cancer Agency working in public relations and event planning before moving to communications roles in publicly traded companies where she specialized in marketing and investor relations. Most recently, she has found a passion in non-profit where she excelled in her role of Communications and Marketing Manager at BC & Alberta Guide Dogs before joining the Foundation team. Ashli grew up in Ladner and returned to raise her two young kids. She is proud to be working in the dynamic team at DHCH Foundation and supporting healthcare for the community she grew up in.
Chelsey joined Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation as the Foundation Assistant in 2024. With over 20 years of customer service experience, she has worked in various fields within the South Delta community, including hospitality, banking, real estate, and office management. Before joining DHCHF, Chelsey managed an office of over 120 staff while serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO. Her passion for people has honed her relationship management skills and helped her forge meaningful connections within the community. Chelsey lives in Ladner with her husband and two children and is proud to be part of an organization that supports healthcare in the community she loves.
Jodi Stokes is the Legacy and Leadership Giving Manager with Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation, blending her business expertise and passion for philanthropy. With a background in wealth management and education in corporate finance from BCIT, Jodi seamlessly transitioned into supporting donors as they shape their leadership and legacy gifts to achieve philanthropic goals. Jodi is a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners and the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy. She is currently working on her CFRE, Certified Fund-Raising Executive designation. Working with donors to create connections with causes closest to their heart and fostering a deep sense of purpose is the most meaningful part of Jodi’s work. Witnessing the impact of philanthropy and carrying forward the unique stories of donor generosity inspires Jodi to continue her commitment to advancing healthcare in Delta.
