On Thursday, March 6th, we will host a special luncheon bringing together 120+ influential community leaders for an afternoon of thought-provoking conversation and celebration. The event will feature Keynote Speaker Tamara Taggart, renowned healthcare leader Dr. Navdeep Grewal from Delta Hospital, and a special presentation of the Leadership in Philanthropy Award to Kristy Storey of the Delta Firefighters Charitable Society.

Tamara Taggart is a community leader, activist, veteran broadcaster, cancer survivor, and mother.
With a broadcasting career spanning 28 years in television, radio, and digital media, Tamara has also focused two decades’ of volunteer efforts on health care and the well-being of children and people with disabilities. She is a community leader who advocates for others and raises much-needed funds for many important causes, contributing thousands of hours and serving as a director of several non-profit organizations. Tamara currently hosts the podcast Telus Talks with Tamara Taggart from her home studio and is the volunteer president of Down syndrome BC.
Tamara and her husband Dave have three children— son Beckett, and daughters Zoë and Poppy. They also share their home with their two dogs George and Penelope and two cats Broccoli and Brussel Sprout.
Dr. Navdeep Grewal is an experienced emergency medicine physician with a long-standing commitment to improving healthcare access, particularly in underserved communities. She combines clinical excellence with a passion for advocacy and education, working to promote equity and inclusion within healthcare systems. Through her volunteer initiatives, media outreach, and teaching, Dr. Grewal continues to be a leader in her field, fostering positive change in both her community and across Canada. She is creator and co-host of the award-winning Avaaz (voice) health podcast.
