Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation (DHCH Foundation) is proud to support deserving Delta students pursuing a post-secondary education. Each year, the Foundation awards two scholarships of $1,500 each – Robert T. Reynolds Memorial and DHCH Foundation Scholarship. They are currently accepting applications for Delta students graduating in 2022. The deadline is April 29, 2022 and students can obtain the application from their school or on the Foundation’s website: dhchfoundation.ca.
In 2021, Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation chose two students with exceptional academic and volunteer achievements. The Robert T. Reynolds Memorial Scholarship was offered to Saiya Gill, a Seaquam Secondary student, who was chosen because she excels in academics, athletics and was also highly involved in volunteering in her community. The 2021 Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation Scholarship was awarded to Tanisha Misra, North Delta Secondary School who was chosen because of her excellence in academics and outstanding leadership in the community.
“On behalf of the Foundation Board and Staff, I congratulate both Saiya and Tanisha on receiving these scholarships and wish them much success in the future,” says Lisa Hoglund, Executive Director of Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation. “We are always impressed with the outstanding caliber of students that apply and we look forward to receiving applications from the graduating class of 2022.”
