The provincial update on February 17, 2026 indicates that timelines for long‑term care projects across B.C. are being reassessed to address rising construction costs and lessons learned from projects already underway. Despite this province‑wide review, early site work for Delta’s new Beedie Long-Term Care Centre is already in progress, and the need to urgently replace the aging Mountain View Manor with a modern 200‑bed home remains clear.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our donors, this project is well‑positioned, and our commitment to this state‑of‑the‑art long‑term care home for Delta remains unwavering. We will continue working with Fraser Health and government partners as timelines are refined, ensuring seniors in our community receive the high‑quality, home‑like care they deserve.
