Jacqueline Embree was nominated by Lisa H. for the incredible care and support she provided to her father during his short but hard-fought battle with cancer.
Over a 6-month period, Lisa’s father was in Delta Hospital often. Each time he was well cared for by the Delta Hospital staff, but Jacquie stood out for Lisa.
“Jacquie’s warmth, kindness and caring manner made Dad grow quite fond of her,” says Lisa. “She treated him as she would her own father so I knew he was in good hands. He always put a brave smile on his face when he saw her coming. I am eternally grateful.”
