The Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society (DHAS) has generously donated $600,000 to the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation towards the purchase of critical equipment needs at Delta Hospital. This exceptional donation will support the hospital’s greatest needs across multiple departments including Long Term Care, Laboratory Services and the Medical Floors.
The Auxiliary has been providing volunteer services, patient care and comfort and funding from their entrepreneurial efforts to Delta Hospital since 1969. As one of BC’s most successful hospital auxiliaries, the DHAS has over 300 dedicated volunteers who donate nearly 50,000 hours each year. Through their successful business’ – Dogwood Gift Shop, Courtyard Café, the Delta Auxiliary Thrift Store and Lifeline – the Auxiliary has cumulatively raised over $15 million towards healthcare at Delta Hospital.
