Delta Rotary Clubs Thank Healthcare Workers

The following letter was sent to Fraser Health Authority president and CEO Dr. Victoria Lee and copied to Delta Optimist.
(The original article was written by the Delta Optimist and can be viewed here).

Words cannot adequately express our gratitude for all that you have done to protect the health and lives of Delta residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ongoing commitment of doctors, nurses and support staff in Fraser Health Authority, even when it has meant putting their own health at risk, has required courage and dedication.

As an organization committed to the ideal of Service Above Self, Rotary believes that people of action can have a lasting impact. Your work is an example of facing great challenges but finding ways to make a difference. Your commitment inspires us to do even more to support public health efforts.

We will continue to promote vaccinations, especially in the most vulnerable communities.  We will stand with health partners in our community and around the globe to prevent and eradicate deadly diseases and to build public health infrastructure.

We’ll continue to advocate for science-based efforts to counter misinformation and distrust.

Members of the Rotary Clubs of Ladner, North Delta and Tsawwassen stand ready to partner with you to achieve our shared vision of a healthier, safer, and stronger community. Please contact us if you’d like to discuss how we can work together.
