Donor Spotlight: Brad and Kathy Dance

Meet Delta residents Brad and Kathy Dance: Long time supporters of the Helping Hearts Club at Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation

Brad and Kathy Dance, proud Delta residents, moved from North Vancouver to Ladner in 2004 to raise their family in this close-knit community. The Dance’s strongly believe in giving back to their community and supporting the exceptional work carried out by Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation (DHCH Foundation) on behalf of everyone in Delta. “We believe that the Foundation is integral to the well-being of our community,” states Kathy and Brad. “We are fortunate enough to have a hospital close to home and not have to travel to neighboring communities for many of our healthcare needs.” Over the past 20 years, they have had many reasons to use Delta Hospital, ranging from numerous sports injuries, broken bones, day surgeries, to diagnostic testing. They express gratitude for the incredible patient care that the Delta Hospital Campus of Care has consistently provided their family over the years.

DHCH Foundation is dedicated to improving the Delta Hospital campus both in the short term and for the long term. “It is such a forward-thinking organization, always looking to improve the services provided at the Delta Hospital Campus while anticipating the future healthcare needs of our community,” states Kathy. The Dances are genuinely excited about the Foundation’s latest campaign, ‘Coming Home,’ which aims to bring more long-term care beds to Delta. They believe there is a significant need for this type of care with our aging population in Delta.

The Dance’s encourage everyone who can to donate to DHCH Foundation, as it is one of the cornerstone organizations in our community. One of the ways they contribute is through monthly giving as part of the Helping Hearts Club. By donating monthly, it provides an easy way to give and support the Delta Hospital Campus on an ongoing basis. “What better way to support your community than investing in the hospital that cares for our family, friends and neighbours?” emphasizes Kathy.

Every monthly donation, no matter the size, is important and contributes to providing outstanding healthcare close to home.
